Twisted the patio umbrella.

Still got power.

A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone.
The American Revolution was carried out by a group of gun toting religious zealots.

I'm good here too. Never lost power and no damage. Surprisingly, we even had regular trash pick-up today.

For Houston, it's more of a power outage event and here is the map of outages:

From looking at the outage map I believe Houston needs to build some redundancy into the system.

Eek
We usually lose power if a butterfly flies by.

Not even a blip last night, quite gladly.

I saw the trash pickup guys too late to get the can out. Will catch them Friday.
Had it been out last night, it probably would be about a county over by now.

Lost internet for about 9 hours. That was it…thank you Lord!

Local news was telling us Houston was set to get 40" of rain.

I'm thinking where in the hell do you put all that water?

That is known as weather with hype. In Harvey the city received more, but that was a different situation.
Houston's rain totals range from 5 to 8 inches across the city.
