Bayern. Interesting subplot. By all rights Lewandowski should have been the runaway winner of the Ballon d'Or this season. But wait; after Ligue 1 cancelled the end of their season, eliminating any chance of Neymar or Mbappe having a good enough season to qualify, the FRENCH magazine France Football who SPONSORS the Ballon d'Or cancelled it "due to the COVID". Much less open game then expected. Neuer played lights out and made huge saves when he had to. Navas had a good game in the PSG net, too. Enjoyed the irony of former PSG academy product Kingsley Coman scoring the winner. Alphonso Davies showed discipline and played D rather than attacking as much.
