Thanks, guys!

Since it was such a beautiful morning I decided to hoist Old Glory again this morning.

I may have to find a way to secure that flagpole so I can leave it standing Razz

And I think I need a U.S. Army banner...

Secure from theft. Though I think it unlikely in our neighbourhood--you never know.

Not the flags, but the pole.

People break into vacant homes to steal copper. Risk electrocution (and sometimes lose) to steal copper. Have stolen AC units from occupied dwellings.

Admittedly: A battery-powered saw would make short work of it, but that'd be harder than simply lifting it out of the sleeve in the ground.

Then again: How somebody's going to go down the street with 20' of 2" OD aluminum pole is another question, I suppose...

Yeah, but that'd take time. And be very noisy.
