When it comes to couples living together, mother/father siblings/spouses or significant others, children/spouses or significant others...do you buy one Christmas gift for the both of them or separate gifts for each?

We buy separate gifts for each with a budget of $100 per person...as our family continues to grow, it adds up fast.

Separate gifts. I have small circle of friends and even smaller circle of family.

We get the nieces and nephews an individual gift. Their parents they get a surplus Christmas card with a BevMo or Amazon gift card in it.
