If you're already invested in a line of 18v/20v tool batteries, it's basically guaranteed that this tool line includes a tire inflator option.

Mine is from Ryobi, since that's the batteries I use. But Milwaukee, Dewalt, et al all have options too.

There have been several morning, 5:30am with me standing in our driveway topping off the tires because the cold weather has caused the Tire Pressure Sensors to go off.

Given your stated use, I still think that the Airmoto I mentioned previously is the best, and simplest option for you.

It has an internal battery that can be recharged via USB.
It easily fits in your glove compartment.
It automatically turns off when the preset pressure is reached.
$70 on Amazon.
Comes with an accessory kit for bicycles, basketballs, etc.

Serious about crackers.

I don’t understand the fascination with battery operated air compressors for vehicles that have essentially an unlimited supply of electricity.

I get it if you carry your battery powered tools wherever you go, but that really only works for one vehicle. My idea of a portable compressor is that it’s there in the vehicle along with a plug kit in case of an emergency. With the Viairs, I don’t have to worry about charging a battery, replacing a battery, making sure I put the battery back in the trunk after using it to run tools on the other side of my house, and I don’t have to have a half dozen batteries to keep compressors in each vehicle.
