Our Lucy has some sort of skin dermatitis, usually on her shoulders and she can scratch some nasty wounds there. We have a prescription that mostly keeps it in check but there are still occasions that she will have a flair up

pootieManuka honey is also good for helping scratches/scrapes/cuts on my old man thin skinned diabetic legs. I use Absorbine silver honey from TSC or Amazon.

az4783054The image of the wound is heartbreaking to see. I cannot imagine what you've gone through and not really know what caused it. Glad the honey is working miracles towards a full recovery.
