C’mon now! Removing photos and references to the Enola Gay? The USAF got caught doing it with the Tuskegee Airmen too

I’m convinced there are people there intent on maliciously complying with this new DOD directive to make Trump look bad but there’s also a lot of people that don’t really know what to do here and how far they’re expected to take this.

What do you all think?

References to a World War II Medal of Honor recipient, the Enola Gay aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Japan and the first women to pass Marine infantry training are among the tens of thousands of photos and online posts marked for deletion as the Defense Department works to purge diversity, equity and inclusion content, according to a database obtained by The Associated Press.

I’m not sure I understand how the deleting of historical photos by the DOD makes the Trump administration look bad. I also don’t understand how it relates to DEI. I’m not trying to be flippant, I can’t piece it together.

That's because you have common sense instead of being a dipshit by dumping references to the Enola GAY because your boss told you to get rid of the gay shit in the DOD.

This reminds me of a child, grounded by his parents to in his bedroom for a week, and then proceeds to piss and shit in his room, not eat, and not bathe. Fucking brats.

If the folks making these decisions are clearly identifiable then they have done the administration a favor by outing themselves. If they are fire able, fire them. If not, find them somewhere considerably less pleasant than Adak to work and reassign them there.

Yeah, to people with any intelligence above room temperature it demonstrates the stupidity of the woke left. They think they're making a statement about how smart and caring they are.

Next they are going to howl about how if those references are put back it proves DEI is right.

I do know several people with TDS who will see it like that.

This thread makes sense for me - malicious compliance.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
