Those cops are assholes. The people they should be arresting are the fools protesting in the street.

Base on the posted video, it doesn't look like anyone was injured and the driver was just trying to get through without doing harm. Fuck those assholes.

What a load of crap. I'd have been arrested too. They have a right to protest, but no right to impede any other citizen.
More and more it seems like the law abiding, tax paying citizen gets the shaft from government.

And these fuckers are allowed carte blanche because of their right to "assemble peaceably"

But you live in America, this happened in California, the rules are different there (here).

Are we sure this happened here in the US? Some of the cops were talking non-English.
Oh, wait...

Driving slowly to get through people that are illegally blocking the road is not an assault. Especially when those "protesters" are intentionally jumping not only in the way, but on to the hood of your car and vandalizing it.
IMHO, the officers had no reason to accommodate these assholes by arresting the motorist and I'd be surprised to see a case filed against him. I'd be even more surprised to see the matter resulting in a conviction. No way are twelve jurors in Orange County (CA) going to vote for "guilty."

Notice several were wearing SEIU union shirts. Either paid organizers, or the union pressured their employers to let them protest.
