That letter wasn't written by Suckaburg, it was written by a legion of lawyers (a bloody terrifying idea).

Lawyers who clearly know the jig is up, and that their client has a reasonable chance of being prosecuted for perjury before Congress, election interference, conspiracy to to interfere with civil rights (a crime per 42 USC § 1985), and/or civilly sued within an inch of his life and they are attempting damage control.

You can count of the fact Suckaburg is shitting himself at the prospect of President Trump's DOJ coming after him personally and going after META under antitrust laws.

If anything, this is a way to scapegoat Biden so that Kamala's hands are clean going forward to Election Day.

KK's hands are clean nothing. She was/is an integral part of this criminal administration.

Fuckerberg came up with the censorship ideas all on his own and let it be known to the government that he would be willing to provide a platform if censorship and misinformation.

He is not in favor of free speech. Not even close and if he were, no one would be banned.

The only reason he said anything is the house judiciary committee is looking into Facebook and is talking about regulating his company.

I'd much rather see members of the current administration that were involved, arrested and charged with violation of constitutional rights. Until they start going to prison for this, they are never going to stop.

Right.
Is it a platform? Or does it provide content?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

It seems obvious he provides content. And if there is content he didn’t like, he would silence it.

No.

If there was content THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT did not like, then Suckaburg would censor it. That makes the act a violation of the First Amendment, as the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans ruled, and prohibited the White House, the Surgeon General’s Office, the FBI, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from having practically any contact with the social media companies. That decision is before SCOTUS now, with a decision expected in October.

Per 42 USC 1983,

quote:
Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress....

That is why Suckaburg came out with this bullshit, he's covering his ass.

I seriously doubt Zuckerberg was pressured to do anything. He was more than happy to do it.

I hope that James Clapper and his friends are resting less comfortably tonight.
They lied for years without any worrying about prosecution.
