OttoSigBest tire gauge
Im assuming there’s a standard like in most items of this nature, between the truck, camper, and motorcycle I need a reliable one, or two.
What’s the best one.

OregonI'm in the same camp. I bought a couple cheap ones from the hardware store and I am woefully disappointed in them.

Yeah I’ve got no brand ones I’ve had forever, doubt they are accurate.

trapper189Milton S976 covers my uses, but I wouldn’t say it’s the “best”. It’s about $20 on Amazon, all metal housing, and reads up to 160psi which I need for the 110psi tires on our 5th wheel.

architectI cannot say what is "best," but I have found that the dial-type seem to be much more consistent and accurate than the jumping-stick ones. I have a dial unit labeled "TireMaq" that has been very solid for many years. Looks very much like
this one wih different labeling on the dial.

hrcjonIf by best and your needs are actually constant and repeatable accuracy then you want one of the Intercomp Digital gauges. Thats what I (and almost everyone else I know use for racing tire setting) If you don't actually need real accuracy and you aren't racing my suggestion is one of the analog Intercomp gauges as they are somewhat more reasonable in price. But the facts are that for the average person there is literally no need for any of this stuff and the everyday decent gauge from almost any source will do fine.

nhracecraftI can HIGHLY recommend the Longacre Racing 52-52003 Tire Pressure Gauge. It has a great feature set and I've got ZERO complaints:
- 2-1/2 Inch glow-in-the-dark Face
- 0-60 PSI Range w/ .5 PSI Increments on Scale
- High-flow Air Pressure Release Valve
- Tell-Tale function: HOLDS PRESSURE READING UNTIL RELEASED
- Swivel type Angled Chuck (addl. Ball Style Chuck included)
- Internal Gauge Damper for more accurate readings and longer life!
https://www.amazon.com/Longacr...Deluxe/dp/B0055EFTWUI purchased this Gauge last year and told my wife to give it to me for Father's Day!

tsmccullAnother vote for the Longacre. Have had one for years and it continues to read accurately. The pressure reading hold function is a very useful feature.

While I love Longacre products their digital gauges are more accurate than their analog ones. I realize that this is probably more that the IO needs but he did ask about the best!!

I would recommend the JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge 100 PSI.
Or the
Longacre 100 PSI Digital Tire Pressure Gauge is another good one.
