Fellas,

A couple of months ago, somebody had a link to an article that was the most successful steps and the attitude to have when being approached by a stranger that is probably up to no good. The theme was they (criminals) don't think like us, and we need to understand how they think to take the proper actions for defense.

Does anybody know what article I am talking about? Thanks for the help! Kurt

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

That is a good one but not it. It actually may have been a post, written by one of the members. It was about understanding the mentality of the common criminal and the aggressive steps we should go through to have a successful outcome. First was situational awareness. Second was VERY Sternly saying something like "Get away from me". The article was about the next steps. Don't be afraid to draw your gun because the criminal is not going to go tell the police and try to get you into trouble for drawing your firearm.

So it was steps, but a great writeup on why we need to be hardcore to have a successful outcome because the criminal thinks totally differently than we do.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? i remember several members chimed in and said they have read it before but it was so great to re-read it and keep it close because it was such an outstanding write up.
