I don’t think I would have had the patience she had once the bear got as close as it did.

^ Patience? I think she was being actively entertained.

I've seen similar videos to this over the years, but this is my first time for this video. YouTube info says it occurred on May 12, 2018 / Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada (slightly less than halfway between Edmonton and Saskatoon).
I checked the Saskatchewan Hunters and Trappers Guide only thing she could've been hunting from a tree stand in May was spring black bear so I'm surprised she was putting her foot out rather than her muzzle (bolt action rifle) out.

I would not be laughing. I would be seriously concerned with weight limit of that tree stand. Not to mention a bear climbing towards me.

That is familiar, had one on my ladder years back. I had a cross bow, that is not a good shot on his thick skull. I hit it with my bottle of water, slowed him down, next I pored my piss bottle on him,he ran off and no shot. Gun season opened next weekend and he came at me in a blind . Bear meat is delicious but the hardest thing to get the hide off,no skinning them suckers ,you must cut every square inch

I find it continually amazing that when risky, even life threatening events take place, the first reaction of many people is..... Selfie time! And her nails looked cute!
