You never know how folks will use them.
I made a segmented bowl similar to the one below for a co-worker a couple of years ago and he eats cereal out of it every morning.

Beautiful. Best I could do with my limited tools and skills was an end train checkerboard pattern. Used cherry and maple. But I made it almost 2 inches thick so it’s pretty decent for butcher block use. And I made it about 16x20 inches. So good for whacking up a big brisket when I smoke one

The board gave me goosebumps ... especially the one side with the growth rings, really made each square pop in my opinion.

The bowl is beautiful too. This may be a challenge, but I am imagining the 3D you put into the boards being incorporated into the side of the bowl.

Wished I had your woodworking talent.

I'm not sure if this video will play correctly but I could easily turn one on the lathe. I would make the cubes smaller.

Wow, Beautiful.

The smart Alec in me can’t resist saying, “Awesome karma, I’m in!”, but only as a joke.

Very impressive work. You clearly put a lot of love and attention into those projects!!!

Jupiter, are you active in any of the woodturner organizations like the AAW? Ever go to any of the national symposiums (symposia?)

I am not. I have browsed the AAW website. Lots of very knowledgeable people there. I really love woodturning. I purchased a Grizzly G0766 in 2018 and Powermatic 3520c in 2019.
You can do some cool stuff with a wood Lathe. It's a great hobby.
