Losing Cole hurt. Besides Brassard's groin injury, his biggest problem was trying to break Ottawa's defensive mindset.

Absolutely. It was a bummer year for Hawks fans. But, I love watching good hockey and these Conference Finals have been amazing.

When the Vegas player picked up the Campbell bowl I let out such a groan my wife thought I was in pain. I had to explain the whole don't touch it thing. Since both teams picked up their respective trophies the junx is off. As much as Vegas winning would be a piece of history not likely to be repeated, I really want to see the Capitols finally win the cup. It's actually an interesting matchup because Vegas is the best first year expansion team ever, and then Caps were the worst.

That being said I have to cheer for Vegas in the final. Being a lifelong Pittsburgh fan I have to cheer on Fleury.
I will admit though, I wouldn't be upset seeing Ovechkin raise the cup but I would turn off the TV when it's handed to Wilson.....

It's been a long, long time since I attended a Stanley Cup game, last time the freaking Detroit fans (and the fact we were way out gunned) ruined it for me. I'm getting a pair to a game if we somehow pull it off, and I'm taking my uncle who had me going to games at Capital Centre.
I was at Game 5 vs Columbus, Game 5 vs Pittsburgh, will be at game 3 vs Tampa, and will be at game 3 in the Stanley Cup finals.
