mrapteam666That is great to hear..
During my time in LE and working for the medical examiner, I always carried either Streamlight or Pelican (plus a couple of Inova's). I always wanted one (especially the E2D Defender) but they were just a tad out of my price range.
With that being said, all of my co-workers carried them and even back in the day, Surefire had great customer service.
I am glad they are staying true.
Edit:
I lied.. I did have a Surefire.
It was one of the first polymer series, and it was a pain. The tail cap/button kept tearing/breaking apart. True, to their word, Surefire sent me a new one, with no questions asked.

GraniteguyI lost a Surefire light in the woods behind my home several years back. Found it last summer when I was clearing some brush. Swapped out the battery and viola - it worked just fine.
The bezel was rusted/pitted so I contacted Surefire to see if I could purchase just the bezel. Told the Rep my story and she sent me a new complete head.

selogicI had a Surefire light that was getting hot and going through batteries pretty quickly . I sent it back and the CS people said that they didn't find anything out of spec but they would do a courtesy replacement if I wanted it . The light was discontinued but they sent me something comparable .

snorisFenix has several good choices in its website. I've had good success with their tactical lights.

wrightdI've had a Fenix a long time, and I bought my Dad one also, and after all these years both are still working fine. They must not be too bad. These are aluminum pocket units.
