I’ve had Amazon Prime for nearly a year, but hadn’t tapped Amazon Music until today. Should’ve done that sooner – it’s wonderful! You have to download the Amazon “music” app. From the Apple App Store in my case, since I have an iPhone. I also have two streaming apps provided by FM radio stations, dedicated to their streams. And the “Tunein Radio” app which allows me to stream music from many FM radio sources, but I generally have to endure an announcement or ad each time I change sources. The wonderful thing about Amazon Music is that I can choose the piece of music that I want to listen to. And there are a LOT of choices. Furthermore, the fidelity is better than that of my streaming sources. If you have Amazon Prime, don’t neglect this service! Serious about crackers

Be sure to check out the available playlists - they have playlists for any genre you can imagine or you can create your own. “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

Been using it. I like how you can download music to your phone instead of streaming. Same for Amazon video. I haven't used the Amazon photo as Google does it for free with unlimited space. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Thank you Very little |
Yep good app, if you have a prime membership it's included, I connect my iPhone to my radio via BT on the motorcycle and can either play the tunes on the phone or select the Prime app, works great, no stupid advertisements at mega volume levels like Pandora. Good stuff

Dies Irae |
It's just OK to me, and mostly because it comes with Prime membership and (if you care to pay) cloud storage of your music. I can't say I've found anything new from poking around it. My music tastes are more fringe (deep house/lo-fi/trip hop), so I prefer TuneIn.

Yep, it's okay, but nothing fantastic. Try finding an AC/DC song you don't have to pay extra for, and that's just one example.

It's been great for me when I'm looking for background music to listen to while working. The one feature I wish for is a way to search for music without any singers in them. I find voices in music distracting and search for classical, electronic, and other types that don't have singers. No music search I've found can handle that request.

Staring back from the abyss |
I've been using it at work for the past six months or so. It's the only music website that the hospital IT dept doesn't block. Pretty happy with it so far. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.
