Appliance Brad (and Ms. Pam!) spotted in the wilds of West Virginia today
I had the distinct honor of meeting SF’s very own Appliance Brad and his lovely bride Pam today.
A couple cups of coffee and tea and an hour of conversation later, and I now have two great friends in Michigan.
Thanks for stopping by today, Brad and Pam.
Solid people.

Two roses (Pam and Brad, left) and the thorn (me, right).

Ha. We met in Teays Valley.
I’m in Huntington, but work in Dunbar.
We will save the Pepperoni rolls for the next visit.
(The best ones in the state can be found at the Little General on Byrd Dr. in Beckley.)

Thanks Greg. It was a pleasure to finally meet you in person. We've missed connecting when we've been in your beautiful state before. Pam and I truly enjoyed our time with you.

And in all our times we have been in WV, I have never sampled your state food so i look forward to our next visit now that I have good intel on where to find the best ones

Little General? Surely there must be better in your area than ones from there?

Glad you got to meet App Brad who is a legend here on SF, and Pam!

I’m going to respectfully disagree and vote for Tmaro’s Bakery in Clsrksburg
It always subjective of course, but you should try them if you haven’t

Little General in Beckley has a woman who makes them by hand in a small kitchen on site, every day. Ready by 10:30am. I stand by my claim.

I drive all over the state for work, and will try the others suggested here. Thanks, guys.

Easy conversation starter, in these parts. Big Grin

I’m in Beckley often, will try them
Challenge accepted!

I agree, when you have someone’s grandma cooking at these little local stores the food can be outstanding

If you’re ever down the road at Hico, stop by the Exxon and get a cheeseburger
You can thank me later !

I was just over that way, in Boomer, yesterday. Duly noted.
Brad and Pam are going to have lots of places to visit on their next trip, if this thread is any indication. Smile

You've got that right. And that cheeseburger in Hico is on our map. Looking forward to our next visit since the moment we crossed over to Buckeyeland
