Thanks for that followup Mars. It's good to see that info getting out there. Unfortunately that part of the story probably won't get close to as much coverage as the original accusations.

Even Monteen has to deal with malcontent dolts that get all butthurt that they can't touch the wild animals (but it's MY totem!!!!), but have to pay to hold the legal birds. This happens all the time to the point she is shy of using social media. She and I had a very tense disagreement over this until she showed me the mounds of unwarranted complaints even though all the paperwork and licenses are in order.
It's become extremely difficult to book and advertise programs via social media. Malcontents are just ready to pounce on the spot.
The DNR never just raid. They call first or announce a visit with a single ranger. These people would have gotten a notice to surrender the illegally kept wild animals.
This squirrel raid had to be something entirely else.
