LucnikI feel much more secure now that New York has the pet squirrel situation under control. Freaking morons.

Spiff_P239Saw this earlier today and couldn’t help but get pissed off about it. Absolutely no fucking reason that this had to happen. The government sure seems to think it can overstep boundaries and get away with it.

parabellumThey're psychopaths. If they're not kept in check, one day it will be necessary for us to reclaim our country by brute force.
Karen Pryzklek, the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation [NYSDEC]’s director, has deleted her Twitter account. That's a start. Next should be a generous application of steaming hot tar and about fifty pounds of chicken feathers.

Balzé HalzéThat Trump Statement is fake by the way. He has not made any comments on this yet as far as I know.

Can we apply the feathers by tightly bailing them and dropping them on her from great height?
I’m no fan of ground squirrels, but even a ground squirrel, kept in the man’s house as a pet is unlikely to cause any problems. ETA: I’m no squirrel expert, but from the videos, I’d guess Peanut was a tree squirrel, even less likely to be a problem.
Bureaucrats gonna bureaucrat.

Mars_AttacksI have a lot of experience with the DNR shitbags.
First rule of baby bird club is not to talk about baby bird club.
Or baby animal club either.
We had to go pick up an imprinted RSH and the DNR was waiting. They couldn't wait to kill it. Gave the little dumpy loser some sense authority and power as she took it to have it killed. We were required to certify it was imprinted. That agent was a sociopath.
There are permits that would have allowed him to keep the animals, but he could not have used them to profit. He broke all the rules and had a huge channel making money off of them.
The government shitbags hit the low hanging fruit with the force of an angry god.
Rumor has it, I've taught my crows to scatter if it's not me in the driveway. Not something I learned from Monteen at all. Nope not at all.

RightwireI hope everyone that reported this to the state of New York in an attempt to save the squirrel is happy.
Law of unintended consequences you entitled, self righteous, empowered morons. Did you get what you wanted? Was that your goal, to get the squirrel removed and killed?

On my early morning walk there are several crows that recognize me. They fly down and walk around before me to make sure that I see them and dispense their breakfast treat – top quality dry cat food. They’re not dependent on me, but they do appreciate that treat.

egregoreI'm sure there's a law - one of many hundreds of bullshit ones in NY - against keeping a wild animal as a pet. That doesn't explain - or justify, if the account is correct - this kind of action.

Mars_AttacksThese are federal laws and employees.
Seems they have investigated a single squirrel more than they ever did Epstein.
From the evidence presented, it's 100% the squirrel was being used to raise money without the proper permits. He never should have had that animal out in the public view without every last protection from the government possible.
Yeah, government paperwork. I've been at Monteen's when they come a knocking because some leftist loon got all butthurt it wasn't allowed to touch the wild hawk or owl and have to pay to hold the one paperworked as an exotic.
Hell, we got an illegal here that raped and murdered a little college girl and the feds are defending her all the resources the government has to offer to get him out of it.

airsoft guyIt's good that New York has solved all their real problems that they can investigate the danger of unlicensed squirrels.
The state is not your friend. It's a massive, uncaring machine, that will kill you and everyone you love if you get in it's way. And should you be lucky enough to get some outcry, some support from the people, the layers and layers of bureaucracy will protect those responsible, "I was just following orders."

horsedocIt's not just New York, here in Texas we've had a USDA inspector with a chip on her shoulder hassling our non-profit USDA accredited rescue for exotics for the last 2 years.
It's power hungry bureaucrats trying to show how powerful they are.
