So You Named Your Little Girl ABCDE?
Some of these are pretty funny. Appreciate the laugh so early in the morning.

Thoughts on deciding a name, like the idea above of “Mr. President”. - I read or heard somewhere that if you come up with a name that you think is a good one, you go to your back door, open it and yell the name as loud as you can about six or eight times. If it is a “good” choice, you won’t mind doing that in the future, when you have to call the kid home for dinner. If it sounds kind of (dare I say) retarded, you might rethink the choice.

When reporting for induction in the Army, he filled out his name as R(only) B(only) Smith. From then on, he was called Ronly Bonly Smith.

Was in the Navy with a guy named John Smith. He liked to point out that because he didn't have a middle initial, the Navy gave him 3. In official papers, his name was John NMN Smith. The NMN was for No Middle Name.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I had a patient named "Le-ah" and when I called her Leah her mom piped up, like I'm sure she did every time someone said Leah's name and said, " her NAME is Ledashah.

So this stupid stuff has went on for years.

In some parts of the country, I can easily imagine her naked being misread as “uh-besity.” Think Willford Brimley’s prounctiation of “diabetes.”

Good job, mom.... Now instead of just one airline worker sniggering at your stupidity, the whole world is making fun of you, and the shitty name you gave your kid. But we all know it was really the attention you wanted all along anyway, and clearly not the child.

That's what happens when you pass out and your head hits the keyboard while trying to come up with names for your newborns.

Doubt I'd mock the kid with a post on social media though. Not the kid's fault.

No need to get the monkey involved in this!

I stopped a girl for some traffic thing once, my partner that day asked why I was writing her a ticket...I tilted the pad over where he could see it and her name was "Uniqua"

Like the cartoon on the backyardigans...

I told him I had to write her, no one would believe me.

The birth announcements in the newspaper can be quite entertaining at times.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A woman says a Southwest Airlines agent in Southern California mocked her 5-year-old daughter's 'Abcde' name when they were preparing to board a flight home to Texas.

KABC-TV reported late Wednesday that Traci Redford accused a gate agent at Orange County's John Wayne Airport of laughing at her daughter's name and posting a photo of her boarding pass on social media.

The girl's name is spelled with the first five letters of the alphabet and is pronounced "AHB-sih-dee."

Redford says the family was pre-boarding because her daughter has epilepsy.

She says she asked the agent to stop and that someone saw the social media post and notified Southwest.

Southwest issued a statement apologizing to the family. The airline says it has followed up with the employee.

The full name is "ABCDEFGHIJKMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" - "AHB-sih-dee" is a pet name and used except during the Christmas season when it pronounce "No L"!

Something tells me you people would also make fun of Aquarious.

Yes, way:

...Aquarious Tykee Madlock, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for trafficking stolen weapons and fourth-degree theft.

Two of my elementary school female classmates had unique names.
"Sixta" was one and "Velvetta" was the other.
