Just wrapped up a remote purchase and creation of a Pendant for my wife for our anniversary. Dave saved me from purchasing a poor-quality stone that was more expensive and designed and an excellent gift that I'm sure will blow the wife's mind. He was not only helpful in answering my questions but also the quickness and quality of delivery was astounding.

Wife has some more jewelry projects I will be sending his way soon.

Deal with confidence.

Thanks again Dave!

These reports of Dave's expertise, service, and character have become so commonplace that they threaten to be boring. News would be if he disappointed a customer.

Fellow members, if you have any needs in the jewelry or watch areas, Dave should be your first go to. My only regret is that I am all the way across the country from his place of business.

Don’t let geography concern you when dealing with Dave. I have lived in VA and now N.C. and never had anything but 100% satisfaction in dealing with Dave.

Agreed 100%
I was a nervous wreck when I shipped my wife's wedding ring to him for repair. Her center stone was my great grandmother's, so losing that would be a bit devastating. More for the in transit parts.
He did phenomenal work, as is legend here.
Need to send it back for another repair, she knocked a stone out.

Dealt with him twice from Florida, never an issue for two high end watches. Great service.

Had the extreme pleasure of having lunch with him a few months back when I was in his neighborhood. He took me to a restaurant where he clearly knew the staff and we had the most amazing meal!

Dave truly is a gentleman and a scholar.

Dave is the best. Each and every experience I have had with him has been great.

I live in Georgia and shipped my wife’s engagement ring to be dipped in platinum years ago and by the way still looks great. So don’t let being across the country stop you. Dave is the best!

Amen to this. His reputation on this forum as an absolute pleasure to work with is, if anything, underselling this. VERY happy with my experience with him.

I had the good fortune to win one of Dave's monthly watch giveaways awhile back. During the required back and forth to get my mailing address and so on, while dealing with Dave or his staff, you would have thought I was a customer that spent tens of thousands of dollars not a lucky stiff that was getting something for free. A class act all the way.

Subject line should really be: David Troung, the man, the legend.

I have had two purchases from Dave including a custom piece he made for my mother. Very happy with both interactions and the custom piece exceeded expectations.

David did a new wedding ring set for my wife for our 50th anniversary. I sent him the original wedding set I bought for her at Great Lakes Naval base commissary in 1972 and some other ring from her mother. He made a beautiful set and my wife still just sets there once in a while staring at it.
Everything was done through the mail and email and it worked out perfectly.

It really is amazing how phenomenal his work is, without having to have any face-to-face interaction.
He added to & fixed my wife's wedding ring, and did a set of earrings for her. And we've bought a few watches through him as well. One for my dad's 60th birthday, brand I'd never heard of, but fit the bill [style & price] perfectly. He still wears it frequently, with a beater Seiko field watch when he is doing anything at risk of hurting the nicer one.
