Tennessee police are currently looking for four people who allegedly robbed a convenience store while wielding pythons.

Authorities in Madison County shared images from store surveillance footage of the incident on their CrimeStoppers Instagram account in an effort to gain further information about the suspects.

They said that two females and two males entered a Citgo in the area on March 4 and stole CBD oil “valued at $400.”

Police added that the thieves left in a four-door sedan with a trunk tied with bungee cords.

Citigo employee Mayur Raval told local outlet WREG-TV News that he and his brother were working in the store at the time of the robbery. He recalled of the suspects, “They were just waving [the pythons] around and putting them on the counter."

He then described one of the pythons as white and another as either brown “or a mix.”

Raval also told WREG-TV News that he believes the thieves would have stolen more if there weren’t so many people around at the time.

“They pulled their car up to the front of the door,” he continued. “I think they planned to successfully come here and rob the store. The snake is a weapon, you know.”

Pythons are non-venomous snakes that can range from 22 inches to 33 feet in length and can weigh up to 250 lbs. They kill their prey through suffocation, wrapping their bodies around their intended target and squeezing, per the San Diego Zoo.

Police are urging anyone who may recognize any of the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477.

Pythons? Haha, you could easily kill one with a stick or moderately sharp knife. These turds would be out 2 snakes double quick if a handgun wasn’t involved.

Yes, but those particular pythons probably didn't total more than 5-10 pounds together.
