Sighted in at 100 or 200 yards there would be no significant drop at this range. I think it was a head shot for maximum visual effect, but he was off a few inches and got the neck instead. One inch right would have been a miss.
The info we have points to Trantifa and a college-age male. Not a veteran, not a professional. But as always, lots of wrong info until things are "official" so I am waiting to see what we learn by this evening.
It was his faith that was the foundation of his conservatism. Not the other way around.
Yes, yes. He knows little. Right, got it.
How about this? How about instead of the desperation of being “right”, let’s just focus on the fact that as of right now, with the info at hand, he was killed for being different from the ideology of the left?
Instead of this tired self righteous Christian “you don’t know” crap? That attitude alone has drove more people from the church than the left ever could.

Ephesians 4:26, KJV “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath"
Let's remember what Paul teaches us. It is not a Sin to be angry and not a sin to hold on to the feelings of wrath, but we must not sin.
It was his faith that was the foundation of his conservatism. Not the other way around.

It takes a humble man to see his need for salvation It takes a man full of his own hubris to condemn it. That's why people leave the church.
Charlie was an outspoken believer in Jesus Christ as his source of salvation, strength, guidance, and THE reason for living and HOPE. He was blessed with tremendous wisdom because of his faith alone in the one and only true GOD; YAHWEH. Disagree? Your argument is with YAHWEH alone. Good providence with that.

Expected results:
"Remember Charlie" chants at rallies and large events. This will play very big in the midterm elections. I think more and more young men will become Republicans and reject leftism. "Remember Charlie" voter registration drives. Perhaps a Charlie pin we can wear like all those politicians and their ribbons/pins for causes.
Antifa/Trantifa crackdown for domestic terrorism and tracing of funding to the sources. Hopefully they can freeze a lot of NGO's accounts and hopefully the real funders. I expect Trump to apply a "whole of government" approach to this. Would be nice to get Soros or other billionaires but I would expect a lot of layers of shell organizations to insultate them. But we shall see.
Trump needs to call in Gates and all the other leftists billionaires and foundation heads and warn them to cut all funding for organizations that fund violent extremists or they will be prosecuted under RICO for conspiracy. Put the fear in them.
I hope Trump invokes the Fairness Doctrine for television news and also threatens revocation of broadcast licenses for any "news" that advocates violence or demonization.
Stepped up prosecution of leftist violent rhetoric. Schumer should have been charged for threatening SOCTUS, and that speech preceded an assassination attempt on Kavanaugh. Batshit Maxine should have been charged for her antics outside Kyle Rittenhouse's trial.

That they even have to do this speaks volumes of all the awful people on that platform:
One of my cousins has a very leftwing spouse and I was glad to see he wasn't celebrating this but by late last night he was already posting mocking memes basically celebrating. Unfriended. Blocked. Next time I run into this guy I'm telling him right to his face that he's an asshole and a trash human being. It's like these people just can't help themselves.

If sighted at 100, drop could be in the range of 1.5-2 inches at 200 depending on the load. Combined with aiming error, it's not hard to imagine an attempt at a center mass headshot dropping to neck level. Windage error would likely be a bigger factor in a hit or miss, so I won't say it was an expert or lucky shot, but it was effective.

I know from my upbringing in the church that it's going to be impossible for a lot of you guys not to see it through this lens, but he wasn't going to college campuses to witness to them and read them Romans 10. He went there to debate politics. He was strong in his faith and more than willing to have conversations about it, but he wasn't leading revivals and prayer meetings, he wasn't praying over an audience full of people waving their hands in the air, he was having one-on-one debates with fucking socialists.
Back on topic, I really, really hope we see the DOJ mobilized in a big way against ANTIFA and the other radical leftist orgs. They're not political groups, they're fucking terrorist organizations and need to be rooted out and dealt with as such. Crowder nailed it in that video posted last night. If you can't speak on your political beliefs without reasonable fear that one of these people will try to kill you, that's plain terrorism. There's no two ways about it.

My 15 year old son is devastated today. Charlie Kirk was his favorite social media influencer. He's the one who told me what happened. His disdain for the radical left is off the charts now.
I'm feeling the same way today as I did the day after Rush Limbaugh died. Although this is a bit different, being it was an act of terror and not cancer. Today is sorrow and anger.

Why, just why, are we doing this right now? I can understand why Para is gets so frustrated after these events.
The suspect is still at large and y'all are focused on this non sense?
A young man, who was most effective in getting college students by the thousands to have dialogue and who significantly helped Trump win got assassinated.

The “200 yards” claim came from an almost immediate estimate by a woman working for the school. And although it’s taken on a probably never-ending life at this point because all the BS media outlets evidently weren’t capable of any independent research themselves, it was just a SWAG by someone who may have been an experienced long range shooter and accustomed to making eyeball range estimates, but that’s unlikely.
Go to Google Earth, draw a line from the speaker’s location to the top of the building where the killer evidently fired from based on the X video that shows him. I got approximately 144 yards; still a long shot but significantly easier than even 200 yards.
Added: I post this because the 200 yard claim has not only been repeated by one news reporting business after another, but here as well. If parabellum deems it inappropriate, he will say so.

I remember well the day Rush Limbaugh died. It was very sad. But, it was not unexpected. He had cancer and we all knew the day was coming.
This is different. Rush wasn't struck down for what he said, even though the left hated him for what he said. Charlie was struck down because he was effective.
I agree... Today is both sorrow and anger.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
