Buyers remorse, Sellers remorse- what's your biggest examples
Can be other than gun related. Here are mine.

Buyers remorse- loading up on Lucent stock and riding it down to basement

Sellers remorse- selling a chunk of land near Lake Erie which years later sold for a small fortune

Sellers remorse: I had known about Microsoft for a couple years before they went public. I bought 100 shares within hours of going public.

About a year later IRS decided I owed additional taxes; Microsoft's value was the closest to what was owed so I sold it. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

Buyers remorse - Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch

Sellers remorse - Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch

I bought it preowned from a reputable watch reseller for a great price.
About a year later I bought a Tudor Black Bay GMT and since I never wore the Omega I sold it to off set the cost of the Tudor.
I got near what I paid for it but if I had waited about another 6 to 8 month I could have sold it for more than I paid for it.
Oh well you never know.

Every so Often I will look at some of the guns I have owned over the years and wonder "what was I thinking"
I once was yelled at by my wife for selling a Kimber 1911. She liked it more than I did, again, oh well.

Seller's remorse ... 1970 two door Ford LTD with a two barrel single exhaust 429. The 429 was a boss beast and with the two barrel I got 17mpg.

Buyer's remorse ... Turned around and bought a 1974 Chevy Caprice with a four barrel dual exhaust 454 that got 12mpg on a good day, wasn't as peppy nor as fast as the 429 and was nothing but problems.

Buyer's remorse: a piece of crap Taurus Lightning. I should have done a little more homework on it and bought something from another manufacturer. Close second is a Century Arms import CETME.

Buyers remorse: BMW R1150GS. Once the honeymoon phase wore off I quickly realized the bike was a big mistake. I should have spent the money on the Supermoto I was also considering.

Sellers remorse: selling my low mile minty candy burning copper Suzuki SV650S. Ugh

Yeah back when you posted buying that bike I felt sorry for you. I had one and it was my least favorite BMW by far, maybe my least favorite motorcycle ever. Too tall first gear, surging problems, too heavy for what it was, unreliable final drive, etc. To its credit it did ride fairly well.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Boats, plain and simple. Love 'em when you buy them, then spend big$$ to make them what you want. Go to sell 'em, instant remorse at the money spent for little use.

Bought one this Spring that my daughter found, I actually think my wife conspired with her as she knew I liked Baja's best. Used it 10 times at most. In the meantime, I had the back seat repaired $200, Had a full cover made as we have outside storage only $900.00. What was supposed to be a 3 way buy, ended up- all else has be on me ( gas, oil, repairs and upgrades.

Love the boat, just wasn't a good year for extra activities, as we needed to renovate 2 rental properties in our spare time this summer. Hopefully next year will be much better if all this other stuff is taken care of.

Off course the blame lies on me! I have full time job, (self employed) with no benefits. Both of them think it's no problem to take a day off (PAID)

I had a health issue that scared the crap out of me 6 months ago and I sold off all my safe queens so my wife didn’t get stuck with 20 guns she doesn’t know the value for.

Total idiot I’m doing fantastic now.
