Yep, I have a Prime order from Amazon to my daughter in college. 14 days later, it is in UPS Surepost purgatory, and absolutely no help from Amazon.

First problem I have had with Prime, but I'm not impressed with their back up procedures!!!!!!!!!

Yep. Smartpost and Surepost. The names surely do not reflect the service. Substandard and lost would be better adjectives. The arrangement with USPS and Amazon has been a major disappointment. Maybe drones will be replace them.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Makes me think twice before I would order.
