I use an Orbi Mesh system. Easy setup, throws fast Wi-Fi everywhere. No dead spots. It’s great!

To entice customers to switch to fiber and get the benefit if it’s speed — a new router is included. Check with your internet provider.

Motorola split and Motorola Mobility is owned by Lenovo now, red logo. Motorola Solutions is the blue logo and leans toward commercial and LEO applications.

And up until a few minutes ago I didn't know, either. I approach electronics as 99.44% Chinese until proven otherwise, and even in the case of military electronics which are required to be built all in the USA per the Berry Amendment, the original source of the boards pre chipped was Chinese - who concealed chips on the boards.

I'm gonna suggest that unless it's a known India built unit running Linux it's compromised some way or another, and since we have a smart TV, a tablet, and two cells all from Samsung it explains why I see our movie selections on IMDB when I go to search. It tracks what we watch.

"They are always listening." Ask around how folks discuss buying something and then ads for that specific product pop up on their web pages when they surf. Or their thermostat turned down the heat when the utility accessed it per a small print agreement.

Do we really want an Internet of Things in our house?

The current "Motorola" is no more Motorola than the current "AT&T" is really AT&T.

Motorola was acquired by Google, and Google sold Motorola Mobility to Lenovo to appease its Android customers--particularly Samsung.

I will never, ever forgive Google for selling Motorola Mobility to a Chinese company

Nor will I likely ever again buy a Motorola product.

I had a Netgear AX AP and just switched to TPlink. I get the convenience of cloud management but having Netgear collect all of my household’s usage and stats is nuthouse crazy.

I am using tp-link mesh system. Works great.

They come out with a faster system every couple of years. Mine is a couple of years old and is as fast as Verizon will give me.

Sigh. Moto, cisco, linksys. How far we have fallen. I’ll at least choose taiwan over china.

Another vote for the Netgear Orbi mesh. Full signal in all rooms on 3 floors and the backyard.

THIS X 10000!

I have been researching this topic for the past 2 months. First I asked my audio company that did the wiring in my house and all the houses we built over the past 37 years and their price was STUPID high.
Then I started reading all the reviews and analysis that I could get and decided to try the Eero pro6.
Let me tell you that I’m not an electrician or guru by any means but in about 15 minutes I had all 3 units up and running at 3x the speed of my outdated system.

Highly recommend!

Have setup a few Mesh,

Orbi here at the Casa, does good, nice speed, no dropped coverage easy setup high speed, solved some issues with coverage areas. It's a two unit system, base one satellite.

Google Mesh 2 and 3 pod systems - installed two so far, simple setup, good coverage, good speeds, no dropped signals, easy to connect devices. Both solved coverage problems, dead areas.

Just bought a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh WifI 6 3 pod system a few months ago, haven't gotten around to installing, want even more coverage for wifi cameras, specifically one outside for the back yard where the Orbi's range is just ok.

Any of the 3 are good and as normal bought mine at Costco as well the Googles were bought by the users on Amazon

I rent the Verizon Gigabit WiFi router on the first floor and an Verizon extender in the attic. I connect the extender to the main router using a coax. I get great coverage and have over two dozen items connected.
