My story is very similar. It was a woman with a short ball bat and she was shown the gun before she got out of the car after managing to totally box me in. She brought her toddler daughter in the backseat to her idiocy. I was really glad she left instead of escalating it to the level of getting shot in front of her little girl. Short baseball bats and road ragers....

Shortened the post to ease up on the the threadjack.

Lots of crazy out there, and people with no common sense to get out and walk up to a vehicle, here in FL we have so many with CWP, and probably 4 times as many with guns in cars without permits.

I've run into a few of these, had one kid cut me off in a 30 mph zone, I have no clue why other than when it was two lane I was going the speed limit and he wanted by, and there was no place to pass, when it came to 4 lane he passed, cut in front and slammed on his brakes, did it twice, so I stayed back, called the police and followed him with tag number and location

Buddy was cut off by an older couple when riding with me on his motorcycle, he decided to split lanes rap on the window and give them what for, at the next light he said, "they deserved that", I looked at him and asked what funeral home I should call for him because he, a young white male on a harley in black leather was banging on an elderly mans car window, angry and that guy could have easily shot him or drove right over his ass. He said, "shit I didn't think of that"

Oh, get a camera for your car, I have one for the front, got it cheap on Woot for $25, it doesn't have gps or all the bells and whistles but it records fine, and that's what you need.

I'm not sure which I like more. The bat dodge -> right cross or the rear choke. Either way good for that guy. He's obviously put some time in at the dojo.

My younger brother passed a woman on a limited access 4 lane state highway, and for 40 miles she proceeded to cut him off, brake check him, tailgate him, etc. Once he reached our hometown he finally got out at a crowded gas station, she got out and yelled and waved her arms a minute, and then she drove off. She had a child in a child seat in her car. An hour later he was awakened from a nap by my hometown cops. He explained what happened and nothing ever came of it.

I had a long big brother conversation about:
  • He drove past a State Police barracks 20 miles before our hometown and he should have pulled in there. It's physically at the end of the highway off-ramp.
  • If he didn't deescalate it by our hometown, he should have driven to the police station not a gas station
  • He didn't deescalate the situation but instead honked, flipped her off, etc.

I'm always skeptical of these sorts of videos but I watched it a couple of times and that first guy didn't even think about putting his hands out to break his fall a little bit.

Unless there was something setup before hand to break his fall everyones natural reaction would be to put their hands out a little bit, even if you were in on it.

The first guy fell exactly like he was out cold from the moment he got cracked.

That is a totally legit video. As two persons mentioned above, the bat boy was knocked cold before he hit the ground. Also it does not look staged in any way, looks totally real.

I kept watching his feet, trying to see if he was making sure he landed a certain way. But the second guy just seems to give in at the end - I'd be throwing elbows and anything else if I was in that position, at least trying to roll off/away. He was a big dude too. The other thing is the dialogue from the two in the car watching, just seems odd. Not to mention the advertisement plastered on the screen...

Choke hold like that, control of limbs is shutting down. If you watch MMA you'll see someone in that hold tap out. That's because it is no use to struggle and they know they will soon be unconscious.

A sleeper hold will take you out of the fight in a few seconds, and have you napping in a few more.

    It's damned quick.

My older step brother did that to me when I was about 6 years old.

I learned to never let anyone get control with hands on.

Think of trying to stuff a cat in a flushing toilet, and you get an idea of what I become.

There will be lots of screaming and lots of blood, and I am gonna make sure most of it isn't mine.

As soon as someone clamps an arm on your neck like that, your hands go right up to the arm, wanting to loosen it. I have never seen it to fail.

" at least trying to roll off/away."

That's what the hat guy's leg clamps are for. Your neck/head is locked, and he's making sure your hips are not moving. You are not going anywhere, except nighty-night.

The only defense is not to get into that position. As soon as someone has your back, tuck your chin down on your chest.
