Seems like it would be easier just to get in the plane before it takes off?

Boy, you better not land long or it's Wop, Wop, Wop.

I pretty much agree with Para's estimation of wing-suiters, but those guys in the plane have some STONES!

Not a pilot, but that doesn't look like the sort of country to be screwing around in.

Holy crap, it takes some serious stones and/or lack of brains to attempt something like that. Seriously cool.

Though I think the hardest part would be climbing that mountain every damn time they didn't make it.

Any bet we'll see that in a movie sometime soon?

It's been done in freefall before, with the aircraft in a vertical descent; first time I'm aware of that a wingsuit has been used to get in the door. Nicely done.

The biggest hazard of that operation is the risk of striking something and snagging a reserve handle; if a reserve were to deploy during the entry, it would be unlikely survivable for the jumpers or pilots.

Not much risk of passing the aircraft and getting involved with the propeller, for a wingsuiter, but a definite risk when doing a freefall entry.
