I bought one. It's very handy for burning weeds and setting slash piles aflame. The tank on it is pretty small though and I only get about 30 seconds of trigger off a tank. They do make an optional backpack tank that is larger, but that would make me a little nervous.

I have this one.

I have one but not what you think of like a military flame thrower, or the one you gave an example of. Mine connects to a propane tank and I use it to burn weeds.

This is what I have:

Similar to what I use, to burn weeds as well as start lump charcoal.

But just think... You could light your egg without even leaving the comfort of your couch!

That’s the one I have. I use it to burn weeds out of beds. I have used it to melt snow in certain areas. I also use it to start my fire pit.

I can see the warning label now. "Not for use indoors or to defrost pipes."

One use is driveway repair? The ones the marines used on Iwo lasted only a few minutes. The marine often did not last that long as the Japanese were all gunning for him.

Nothing but fun so far. I have one that mounts on a picatinny rail, or stand alone.

I do not, but a former neighbor used to have one. He used to stand out his driveway with a steak on his little charcoal grill and stand there and blast it with that propane flamethrower for like 5-10 minutes. At first I thought he was just trying to light his charcoal, then I realized he was actually using it to cook his steak. I miss that guy, lol.

Oldest son has one. My wife wanted him to use it on the bag worms in our trees last year.
