the tech people take great pride in saying that there is 5 times more computer power in your hand ( on the cell phone) then the man had while landing on the moon. I point out to them that they got five , three ring binders to operate what they had. I got nothing when I bought my cell phone . Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Good point. A few years back, when kids were still at home, I had a few tag along to the Verizon store. I had a question about my cell battery, which was just a puff of smoke and gone. The verizon guy asked if I closed my "apps." I said of course...I wait a few seconds and the screen goes dark, and they're gone. No, he said. I had to open them up, and swipe them away to close them. News to me. My oldest boy looked at me with some suspicion and said, "Dad, you're stupid. Everyone knows that." Yes. Everyone. | |||
