Have driven through AL en route to FL, so I've done the majority of I-10 almost coast to coast.

Been to all of them, lived in four

Been to 31 states, and lived in 7, including Alaska and Hawaii while I was in the military.

Been to 17 (unless just passing through counts as "been to", then add a couple more), lived in 4 of those.

Been in 48 states, but only lived in one (Texas).

Lived in Idaho, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, New York. Spent at least 24 hours in all but Alaska and Hawaii.

We went to virtually all the western European countries, plus I was in several N. African countries, Iran and Turkey.

Been to 35 states plus Puerto Rico and Guam and lived in four.

I've been to or through (drive or airport stop), I think 42 states. (NO to Alaska, Hawaii. Idaho, Montana, N and S Dakota, New Mexico, New Hampshire).In my current job I've taken Michigan, Wyoming, and Louisiana off the list.


Lived, as in say for more than a month, far less: Virginia, Florida, California, Illinois, Texas, and Oklahoma.
