Slow getting back to the Forum with the update. The issue that 18DAI describes is exactly what I found. I was going to transition from a Glock 43 to the Hellcat for EDC and each Hellcat I handled (6) showed the same issue. I contacted a customer service Rep at Springfield and had a very nice 10 min. discussion with them. When I explained the trigger issue as 18DAI has discussed, they told me that they aware of the issue and the discussions on the forums. I was then told that this issue is a "safety feature" designed into the trigger system. I offered to discuss injured and weak hand shooting etc. and they told me that they understood but again, it is a safety feature designed into the trigger system. The discussion was pleasant enough and ended there. I figure that I may risk voiding the warranty on a Hellcat by working on the trigger and might also create legal issues if I would have to use it, I'll just stay with my Glock 43 for EDC and look at other options. I should note that a partner of mine had some minor issues with a Sig 365XL. He returned it to Sig and had it back in 5 days with a parts upgrade addressing the issues. No charge.

That is just plain stupid to have that kind of safety feature. Gives me another reason to avoid Springfield.

So, what's the original issue?

Gloom, despair and agony on me. |

^^ thank you. I knew there was a thread recently, but I didn't read it. No hellcat copy here, just original 365's
