A federal investigation into matters related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is nearly complete.

U.S. Attorney John Huber's two-year-plus inquiry, which has been shrouded in mystery compared to other politically charged investigations involving federal law enforcement, has not led to any criminal charges or any "known impacts," according to the Washington Post.

Within Huber's purview was the FBI's corruption investigation into the 2010 Uranium One deal and allegations that Clinton orchestrated a "quid pro quo." The sale of Uranium One, a Toronto-based company with U.S. mine holdings, to Russian state-owned Rosatom was the focus of great controversy and scrutiny from Republicans who claimed that Clinton helped coax a nine-agency review board not to block the deal and that the Clinton Foundation may have stood to benefit from it.

Huber, who hails from Utah, was tasked by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to investigate a list of allegations by Republicans in Congress. During his review, Huber examined documents and spoke with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock, Arkansas, who were involved in an inquiry into the Clinton family's foundation.

Huber's investigation is separate from one by U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is reviewing the origins of the Russia investigation, and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz's recently-completed inquiry that heavily criticized the FBI's efforts to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants to wiretap Carter Page, an American foreign policy adviser who helped Trump's 2016 campaign.

In a May 2019 interview, Attorney General William Barr said Huber's investigation was "winding down, and, hopefully, we'll be in a position to bring those to fruition."

Thursday's report said Huber's investigation has not yet been officially closed and no notice has been sent to the Justice Department or Congress.

Didn't someone on here, a year or two ago, say that Huber's investigation eventually was going to nail Clinton finally, or something to that effect? He was quite certain of it, too.

It's all a giant crock. Seems nobody but Republicans or conservatives ever go to jail.

I'm not bothered by the Clintons' escape from justice thus far. Some people are simply too powerful to face justice in this life.........but it's coming. I firmly believe that. One day they will have to face a Judge to whom they cannot lie, whom they cannot deceive and whose judgement they cannot avoid, delay nor ignore. It is as inescapable as death itself. The only thing that dulls the sweetness of that thought is that I have my own appointment with that Judge. And I'm going to need a family sized portion of mercy. In the end, the right thing will be done with them.

In a way, the Clintons have faced justice.

Hildebeast losing 2 efforts at President must have driven her mad.. The loss to Trump must still be killing her. Plus all that money the Clinton's had to return due to the loss.

It's not the real justice I'd like to see for them - like a 13 foot drop at the end of a rope, but even the Clinton's must face death, eventually. The grim reaper is eagerly searching for them.

Karma - it's real.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

As much as I would love to see the day, I can't imaging a former president and his wife being perp walked.

As hard as I try, I can find absolutely no sympathy for those people. (and that is using the term very loosely).

How many people have they ruined?

How many millions of dollars have they stolen that was intended to actually help people in dire need?

I agree that the odds of any of them spending a second in prison are really, really slim.

They have way too much dirt on other high ranking crooks for much to happen in terms of justice.

Yes, at some point they will stand before the real GOD and explain themselves.

In my view it would be best if they stood in front of a mortal judge and listened to their life sentences here on earth.

It might do much to slow the advance of the outrageous corruption that has taken over our nation.

For example, and not to change the topic, but consider the ultra-lib insanity currently taking control of Virginia state.

Ive been thinking since 1992 that the Clintons would soon have to face justice and answer for their crimes. I've been wrong. They've become mythical in their ability to avoid anything sticking to them. No one else, certainly not in our era, has gotten away with so much.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I think they've already gotten what they deserve. There is such a great amount of human misery associated with their name. You can't wash that off.

Worse still, for them, is the fact that many on the left ALSO associate them to these things.

Honestly, I don't think this John Huber feller even really did anything. What has he actually been doing all this time? I imagine his daily work day looked something like this:

I think 'cleaning" up might be a better term. The fix is in and likely has been from day one. She is in a position to have dirt on a lot of people on either side of the aisle so justice was going to be blocked. I believe in the Deep State as Jason Chaffetz described and they protect their own.

I'm not following the lack of confidence here considering this entire investigation falls within Trump's tenure. He's the one who told Clinton to her face that she'd be in jail if he were President.

Interesting video. It does not mention "republic" which I think is a flaw. In America, we are not supposed to be "ruled". We may consent to be governed where appropriate.

As seen by current activities in Virginia, a certain crowd thinks it rules a democracy. I suspect many will ultimately regret their actions.

And yes, the Clintons and lots of other people in "power" should probably be in jail - after due process that is.
