WWII vets birthday makes news
Saw a story on tv news as well as local sunday newspaper about this former soldier. Celebrating his 111th year birthday. He lives on New Orleans, La. and for his age seemed to get around pretty good. From one vet to another sir I salute you. .......................................... drill sgt.

Given my occupation, I come in contact with a lot of vets. I have always had a WWII vet or two as a customer. Currently I have none. I had a Korean vet, up until about six months ago, but he passed away. I have a few Viet Nam vets, but I just read today only 1/3rd or so of Viet Nam vets are still alive. I do have a few Iraq/Afghanistan vets as well. And a few young men and women who became members of our military.

God Bless All Our Vets.
