My dress and sport shirts. I buy 'em on sale, I'll bet there is a huge end of year sale.

Buy them on sale 3/$99. Only retards pay full price at Jos A Bank.

I wear an oxford daily and this is true....BB and LL Bean are also quite good depending on the sale.

Carhartt makes some very high quality shirts. I have a few and the attention to detail is pretty darn good. They wash and dry very nice and keep their shape.

I have to go with this as well.

LL Bean dress shirts are what I buy now. Properly sized with a variety of fabrics and cuts.

I used to buy Costco Kirklands but then the buyers threw up on themselves and started offering their shirts in blended sizes. Haven’t bought one since and never will. Why buy a shirt that’s only going to fit half right? Try peddling that crap out for women and see how that works...

Brooks Brothers non iron shirts. Pretty amazing straight from the dryer. I would still iron, but it took almost no time and they always looked perfect.

Costco Kirklands are thick. Prices under $20.

Most button downs of not removed from the dryer and hung promptly will have wrinkles.

If you don't like to iron, get a steamer. They really work.

Ironing helps but they still don't look to my satisfaction. What is a decent non wrinkle shirt? If they last and look good doing it I'll spend a little more.

Curious as to whether you bought the Dillard's "Gold Label" or one of their other brands. I've found the gold labels to be excellent dress shirts.

I've had good luck with Lands End permanent press dress shirts. They also have exact neck size and sleeve lengths.

+1
Lands End shirts are nice -- especially for the price. LL Bean is an option, too, although I find Lands End shirts in comparable fabric and size are better shirts.

Lands End dress shirts are not up to the quality on the custom cut shirts that I used to order from Hong Kong via my suit/shirt/tie shop, but the Lands End shirts cost a crap load less.

Brooks Brothers for me. They do have different fits if you don’t want their traditional boxy, wide fit

I have good luck with Stafford broadcloth buttoned down collar shirts. Can usually find them on sale at Penny’s or Kohl’s.

LL Bean and Jos. A Bank are my go to for work wear shirts. The rest of the time I live in T shirts or polos, mostly from LL Bean.

I’ve heard good things about Untuckit shirts if you want the untucked look.

If you want it to fit right get custom. I like proper cloth from the internet site and they start at about 85 a shirt. There is definitely a difference in fit when you get a custom shirt...

Thanks - if anyone missed this, looks like they are still 40+15% off today, so still a smoking deal.

These are my go-to shirts for appearance and durability.

another good choice is on-line; Land's End. It's not the cheap stuff from the stores they had in Sears.

In order....

Excellent quality and you can customize them anyway you like. Catch one of their sales and they really aren't that must more expensive than off the self options.

2 - JOS A Bank Traveler - Nice quality and decent options (many more online). As mentioned previously, buy them during one of their never ending sales.

3 - Land End - Not what they once were, but still a decent shirt.

Note: Costco shirts used to be an option, but as with most things, they've been farmed out to a new manufacturer and aren't what they once were.
