RogueJSKBest free/inexpensive Blu-Ray player software
I'm wanting to be able to play Blu-Rays on my laptop.
I have an external Blu-Ray drive, but for some reason, the software that it comes with (PowerDVD) only supports DVD playback, unless you pony up another $60 to purchase a license for their "Ultra" edition with Blu-Ray support.
What are good options for free or cheap Blu-Ray player software?
This will be for a Windows 10 PC. I don't need 4K or 3D support.

RogueJSKThanks.

I can Google it myself. But merely Googling it doesn't tell me anything about members' personal experience and recommendations, which products are better than others, or which products are actually legit versus bloated adware/malware.
V-Tail, when you posted a thread last week looking for advice on a new hedge trimmer and leaf blower, did you expect other members to snarkily tell you to just
"Google it"? If a long-time member had done so, would you have considered that appropriate?
Or did you instead post that thread because you hoped to receive actual recommendations based on personal experience from a group of folks whose opinions and expertise you trust?

V-TailAh, it never occurred to me that player software would be loaded with ads. I just did not think about that.

Unfortunately, it does not.
There used to be some unofficial third party workarounds to allow you to play BRs in VLC after some fiddling, but they no longer appear to work.
That was the first thing I tried.

46and2No, Rogue, not that I'm aware of.
I use MakeMKV to (you guessed it) make uncompressed (and sometimes compressed) MKV files/containers from my Blu-ray discs, after which I watch them via everything from JRiver to VLC to my Droid phone and the like.
