What's a good source to purchase magazines? Specifically looking for a new G17 Gen 5 I just got from my bride for my birthday. I came across gunmagwarehouse at the top of a Google search. Any others? Thanks!

The Magpul ones work just fine. I use them regularly, never had an issue. My personal preference is to use factory mags for carry, but I have no issue using the magpuls on the range.

I have had good luck with magpuls but the price difference between them and factory magazines is usually not REALLY enough to warrant buying anything but factory IMO. That said the magpuls do have better/easier floor plates.

CDNN routinely has gen 5 glock 17 magazines for $19.99, often times with a flat rate for shipping. For factory mags, it’s very difficult to get cheaper....honestly, I don’t know that I’m aware of another source that sells gen 5 mags for $ 20 on the regular. Looks like they’re $23 now....out of black ones right now
I will also second the magpul mags reliability. I’ve used them a ton. Always work great. For self defense I use factory mags....but it’s not because I worry magpul mags will fail...by this point it’s just....habit

I have run both Magpul and Glock pistol mags and find them both reliable. It is easier to remove the baseplate on the Magpuls for cleaning but the witness holes are better on the stock Glock mags.
I have heard that the Magpuls can wear out faster with a lot of use but mine are still running fine. I got a pack of 10 Magpul mags for my 17 when Brownells was running a special. I think the total was about 120 dollars.

I was at my local Bass Pro today and even though they showed no stock on their website, my store had 3 G17 mags in stock. Just FYI.

I like Primary Arms and DSG arms.
I have factory and Magpul G17 mags, both work fine. Magpul ones are slightly cheaper, not really much of a factor unless you were buying them in bulk, IMO. Magpul makes great products, I have enough of their AR-15 mags to last some time.
