Does a rolled up sock count?

Same!

I'd wager this is rare. Somewhere between the real Bruce Wayne out there somewhere -- and I'm talking about the Michael Keaton one, with the ancient military suit collection -- and "I just got out of a time machine," rare.

But if that's true, that doesn't make it OK either...

You mention the real Bruce Wayne, then you list Michael Keaton??
The real Bruce Wayne was Adam West!! I thought everyone knew that!

A codpiece (from Middle English: cod, meaning "scrotum") is a covering flap or pouch that attaches to the front of the crotch of men's trousers, enclosing the genital area. It may be held closed by string ties, buttons, folds, or other methods. It was an important fashion item of European clothing during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. In the modern era, clothing devices with similar functions as codpieces are worn in some styles of underwear, in the leather subculture, and in performance costumes, such as for rock music and metal musicians. A similar device with rigid construction, an athletic cup, is used as protective underwear for male athletes.

This suit of armor has both. I don’t recall armor like this in A Knight’s Tale.

One of those is the equivalent of a moat.

Just don't fall into an actual moat while wearing said bomb suit.

If wearing a codpiece I think you should be shot while wearing it with a can of tear gas and rubber pellets.
