I was talking with a friend, and he said, "I'm going to get into Cowboy Action Shooting." I said, "That sounds like fun, I should too." He then said, "you have to make up a clever name for yourself, like 'Bent Fender' or something like that". I Said, "Hmmmmm...."

I realize I really only know one Cowboy Action alias: Rolan Kraps.

What's yours? Or what are some good ones that you've heard of?

My cowboy alias is "T-Boy". Where did I get that from..."T-Boy" is a common nickname in the Cajun culture and my dad was well known in my hometown and was known as "Tee". When I grew up and was accompanying my dad people would say "who is that kid" and someone would answer "you know, that is "Tee's boy"; thus my alias "T-Boy".

My wife thought of a good one however; "Guns Donovan" from the John Wayne film Donovan's Reef. Not a western but it works anyway.

I had two Jack Russel Terriers when I started. They are known for being deadly ratters!

So:

Jackrat is my moniker.

I’d have to use “Mayor Mike” cause my kid calls me that, saying that I’m always talking to different people

Mine was “Hierro Grande”. Supposed to be a literal translation of Big Iron. And no, not for the Mart Robbins song. I had a 1973 Plymouth Fury III in HS. The car was bought new by my Paternal grandmother. It stayed in our family until 2012. I sold the engine and transmission out of her, then a buddy and I did some “ammo testing” before hauling her off for scrap.

SASS badge number 42518 (IIRC). I don’t remember if they expire after a while or not.
