Is that better?

Sorry, I thought just "CSS Georgia" was pretty descriptive

Would you rather the thread be locked? That's what vague or click-baity titles are supposed to garner right now.

The idea is to let people know the subject of the thread, and why you're bothering to post about it.

Squeezing out several words, a phrase, or even a sentence that describes your topic accurately, means people can likely decide whether they are interested without clicking into the thread.

Interesting video...

never knew of the railroad track being used for armor...

I'd like to see how it worked..or didn't for that matter....

I can't tell you the number of times my ship went over or alongside the wreck when traversing the river, although my ship was stationed in CHarleston, the sister ship to us was homeported in Tybee...we shared SAR coverage from North Fl to the New river inlet in NC

Don't have time to watch it just now, but I just have to say as an amateur history and archeology nerd: That's so fucking cool! Way to go to the teams that did all the work! I have a relative through marriage that did some work with the Hunley, so it kinda comes close to home for me. Big Grin

I visited the Cairo when I was at the Vicksburg National Military Park.
Well worth seeing if you are ever in the area.
