Nice thing about a .22 to the head - not a whole lot of mess to clean up after coroner leaves.

Many years ago when I was a rookie cop, we got a shooting call. Elderly lady was at home in her rocking chair when two guys kicked in her back door. She pulled out a .22 wheel gun and shot the first guy between the running lights. DRT. 2nd one she gut shot. Found him at the hospital. She is as rocking away when we got there, smoking a pipe.

My grandmother was bad ass like that, too. She had a 1864 S&W .22 short break-top that she used to hold a burglar until the police arrived.

I found what you said riveting.

Byrd has previous convictions for burglary and drugs,
according to the Kan. Dept. of Corrections

Looks like he put a target on his forehead for ease of reference.

A .22 makes an excellent little Byrd gun.
