I don't request a lot of government services, but I did apply for a passport renewal back in February. This is all I get from them:

U.S. Passport Application Status
Due to public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we suspended offering expedited service on March 19, 2020. You should expect significant delays if you applied for or renewed your passport and requested routine service.

Something tells me these people are still getting paid, even though they aren't working... unlike the real world.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Now I see your mistake. You still call it "your house". Its really theirs, and they just let you reside in it. Go back to the communist model. Everything belongs to the state. They tax the shit out of you because they can.

In the same boat Chellim1.

Applied for passport renewal 4 months ago. They cashed my $110 check the day the package was received. Called 2x and was told they are backed up?

Really?

Tucson city has a shortage of police, therefor crime has increased. Homeless panhandlers everywhere. Many businesses failing due to this Corona-19 scare. City streets in need of repair. Trash everywhere.

So, what has our new (Democrat) Mayor have as her first priority?

Trees. Plant more Trees, she said. Lot's of Trees.

I tried, but he's not in his office or answering the phone.
. Our service director if you can find him in his office will listen to your problem etc., and promises swift action but usually nothing gets done. His pay is almost 100k a year in our town of less than 10000.

They’re going to be higher after the panic to “make up for lost revenue” or some such horseshit excuse.

She no doubt will use money for the trees from money saved after defunding the Police Dept.

Gang? On this forum? Are you high?

The term spanked out means dialed in. That boat is spanked out, that car is spanked out.
A to Z should be obvious.

Geez man a forum isn’t a doctoral dissertation or thesis.

oh, and don't forget she wants to make Tucson a sanctuary...never mind that its home to 4400 CBP officers and staff...

and she also wants to take more of our money to pay for people that don't want to work

How come Medicare employees can process payments but IRS employees cannot?
