Yeah, people tend to forget.
Spotify had its issues with Joe Rogan and his shows on Covid. But also with Trump over issues such as his travel ban. Also their ban on Prager University content. I'll never pay a dime to Spotify.

flashguyNone. I don't spend that much time listening to music. I don't even know how to use a "streaming service".

I guess I offset you. I get up each morning, turn on music in my living room, start the coffee, get the dog and go out on the lanai and turn on music out there.
If I go anywhere, music is on in the car. I have never turned a car radio off in my life.
It's not that I'm a music freak, I just use it like Muzak...background music.

At home the TV is on 24/7; in the car the FM radio is on tuned to WRR (Fine Arts station--Classical music).

PASigJust canceled Spotify today, 2 price increases in less than a year?
Screw you.
I have Amazon Prime, does anyone use Prime Music? I think we will be using that going forward.

oddballI still have never paid a dime to Spotify, and never will. Shades of Twitter and Facebook in 2020.

I don't have full Prime music, but having bought probably 90%+ of my CD's from amazon, I'm supposed to be able to stream them. All I can say is the Amazon music app isn't user friendly...at least to this dumbass.

PASigWe canceled Spotify after the second price increase in less than a year, then I tried the free Amazon Music I was gettting as part of Prime and that was a disappointment with less than stellar sound quality and no skipping.
I looked at:
Spotify
Amazon Unlimited Music
Apple Music
Tidal
It turns out they’re all $16.99 a month now for a family plan so I decided to go with Apple Music as I’m done with Spotify. The sound quality is really really good once I enabled the highest quality lossless HD settings.

I hadn't bought a CD in several years, but 3 years ago I had a new favorite band and walked into Best Buy to see if they had it. I walked around in circles and realized there wasn't a single CD in the store. The world has changed and gone online/streaming. I went out to my car and got connected to Spotify in 5 minutes.
I have a few SIGs.

Rey HRHAmazon music basic. I heart radio.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Johnny 3eaglesI'm still really liking IHeartRadio. #1 because I can select an artist and IHR will play those songs and others like it. Very little advertising. IT'S FREE. The app is easy to use and found on both my Chevy and Volvo.

CoolRich59Spotify.
I have tried Apple Music, Tidal, Amzn Music, Pandora, and Qobuz. For my use, none of them hold a candle to Spotify.
Last week, Amzn sent me a promo for Amzn Music free for 5 months. I installed the app, but it would not let me activate it unless I agreed to turn on Alexa. No thanks. I deleted the app.
