Yep. Electrocution is a terrible way to go, and not always fast and not always terminal. Often times the animal catches fire due to its fur. Other times they get severe burns but live on suffering.

Youtube is filthy with videos from other countries of monkeys in urban areas getting shocked on power lines. More often than not the monkey lives but is in severe pain and dies a slow death.

Think of The Green Mile where the pecker guard neglected to wet the sponge.

I wish that on no animal or human.

And then, in this case, meeting Mr. Ground falling from power-line height.

Good work to the OP for getting this set in motion, and to the rescuers who got it done! Smile

I don’t know… Cats are much better climbers than descenders. Firemen are frequently called to rescue kitties from trees.

Yeah, but have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?

Simple solution:
Get a porta potty and set it up on scene.
Put me in it.
Instant cat! All mt cats never miss a chance to hang out with me while I potty.
Why should a Bobcat be any different?

This is so true.

When I piss my little black cat runs up between my legs and puts her front paws on the bowl. Gotta stop mid way to get her out of there so she doesn't get wet.

Pinching an obama with the door closed and my big male will sit outside the door and cry and cry as if he's missing out on the best fun ever.

In there brushing my teeth with the door open or closed, zero fucks are given.

I saw him on the news.

He got up there on his own. Seems to me, it was pretty obvious he would get down.

(Okay, maybe he'd fry himself and kill power in the neighborhood.)

But glad it all turned out well.

They just like to fuck with firemen.
