Dow sell off pending?
And at least partially due to a Chinese firm facing bankruptcy.

It’s my fault. I convinced my wife to pull out some money from savings and put it in the market….

Our accounts are down about 2% and it's still early.

Yup. Pullbacks and corrections come with the territory, regardless of the cause. Look at what happened in the aftermath with past market meltdowns. Funny how the market in general always seem to wind up stronger and more positive when we come out on the other side of these selloffs.

If you sell make sure you have a plan to recognize when to buy back in. If you Market time using your gut you should be prepared to be disappointed.

What I find interesting is that the US is generating no shortage of negative news, and the markets have largely shrugged it off. But China has problems, and they go into a tailspin.

If you look at Evergrande Group, their worth has been declining for the past year.
