ElToroIt SI units or the international system. A femtometer is a quadrillionth of a meter or 10 to the -15. So realllly small
I took a several physics classes in college to go with my almost astronomy minor. Just because I’m an astronomy nerd and my high school had a planetarium on campus that grade school kids would come from around the area to see star shows. And seniors could get science credit for being there an hour a day. Then when you are the only non physics or non STEM major taking a college physics class it helps to go fall on a sword the first day and discuss with the professor that you may need extra help with the math. But I muddled my way through.
I’m super fascinated by scientific minutiae like this. Thanks for posting.
