So I was watching Fox News Sunday this morning and the breaking news was that Jill Biden is currently visiting Ukraine. A few on the panel thought that this showed "strength" on the part of the Biden administration. Maybe it's just me, but I do not see how President Biden sitting at home with his nurse feeding him soup while his wife is in Ukraine projects strength.

It’s not just leftists (or capitalists) who are getting some sort of rake off from either the US support to Ukraine or directly from the country itself who support the fight against Russia’s criminal aggression.

Sending someone like her to demonstrate Democrat solidarity with the Ukrainians isn’t going to make me forget what else the Democrats are responsible for and get me to change my votes come November, but unfortunately that isn’t true of everyone. Many voters can be influenced by a single bright and shiny that captures their attention for the moment, so they probably believe that her visit can’t hurt their chances, just like someone probably thought it would be a good idea to get their base stirred up over the abortion issue well in advance of the elections.

Ukraine is a small country. Just how active or dangerous a war zone can it be if it's OK for the First Lady, let alone the Speaker of the House who is third in line to the presidency, to go there?

How much do we need to pay for them to keep her?

A very bold move, considering we just confirmed for the whole world that we've been helping Ukraine with intelligence kill Russian generals.

Then you go ahead and present them a perfect tit for tat opportunity who isn't an elected official, but is essentially in charge of the country, since Joe is a vegetable.

If the media can be believed, the reasoning for the visit is Mother’s Day and solidarity with the first lady’s counterpart the Ukrainian first lady.

Her going is further proof she should be in jail for elder abuse.
