Thank you Very little |
Happened on April Fools day so folks thought it was a prank, apparently a guy gets out of a pickup truck takes a couple of steps into the path of a deer running from barking dogs. Bam!bi knocks him to the ground and keeps going... you can see the dog run to the other side of the pickup and off to the right. Everyone thought it was a joke until the security video was released... Link Link to original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGbF2777ObE

Seems only fair. Deer get mowed down by cars all the time around here. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

It must have had a reservation. Probably worried that dude was going to take his room.... "Some things are apparent. Because he had a room reserved? Officers lives matter!

The deer was running because it heard its room was over-booked, and United owned the hotel. Probably thought the guy in the truck was there to re-accommodate him. This space intentionally left blank.

If only the deer would cross at the deer crossing signs like they're supposed to, we wouldn't have these kinds of problems.

Just move the signs. . . I can imagine him trying to convince people at the front desk: "I was just run over by a deer." Yeah, right. I think you've had enough to drink tonight, sir. . .
