My doctor must have changed drops. I used to get over it in an hour or two. Last time I went it was bad for the entire night after my afternoon apptmnt.

My eye doc offers the reversing drops if you need them. I have a long recovery from dilation too, so on occasion I've asked for those. I tend to error on the side of not using any more chemicals than needed, so I kind of just deal with it unless I need to be somewhere or use the computer right away.
