drill sgtI got stung yesterday ... still hurts
As a young teenager a yellow jacket landed on a slice of bread w/jelly as I prepaired to eat it. As I started to chew that little fellow hit the roof of my mouth twice before spitting it out. Hurt beyound description. A uncle was visiting and made me take a big chaw of tobacco and made me hold it in my mouth for quiet a while to help with pain and swelling. Do not know which was worse. The taste of juicy chew or the yellow jacket sting in roof of mouth. ................. drill sgt.

tleo205The tobacco on stings work well. On a scout camping trip when I was a kid I got nailed by five or six yellow jackets. one of the scout masters broke open one of his cigars, chewed a bit, and put the paste on the stings. That took the sting out quickly.

mark123The swelling is gone this morning but it still itches like crazy. I may introduce them to imidacloprid.

r0gueOne got me a several weeks back. It was BRUTAL! on the ankle. Pain for a good 50 hours. Ice helped a lot. Itchy as hell for weeks after. Still itchy and swollen even. Still a scab at the sting site.
I've never been so happy to hand cash to a service provider, but I grinned ear-to-ear paying the exterminator to "Execute every last mother fuckin' one of them".

My guy used boric acid powder down the holes. Slow, (days to act) but safe for pets, and it worked. In retrospect, I like that it was slow.

Man, you got that right. A few years back I was moving some pavers, they were hard to grasp with gloves on so I took them off, big mistake. A scorpion nailed me right on the tip of a finger. I swear that hurt like fire all day long.

germandogsWhen I was a kid on the farm my Dad was deep plowing a field. Hit a yellow jacket nest. The doctor said he identified 71 seperate stings. He blew up like a blimp and was in hospital for a week. The doctor was amazed he lived and said he had never seen one so bad.
